Morning attack on Kherson: number of injured rises to five

The number of people injured in the morning attack on Kherson on 28 December has risen to five.

Details: It was reported earlier that Russian forces struck residential neighbourhoods and critical infrastructure in Kherson in the morning, leaving part of the city without electricity. At the time, a 75-year-old woman was known to have been injured; she was diagnosed with a blast injury and an acute stress reaction.

Later, the Oblast Military Administration reported that a man who came under Russian attack in Kherson in the morning required medical assistance. The 38-year-old resident was diagnosed with a blast injury, concussion and an acute stress reaction. He remains under medical supervision.

Afterwards, another resident of Kherson sought medical help after being injured in the morning Russian attack on the city. A 22-year-old woman was diagnosed with a blast injury, concussion and an acute stress reaction. She will receive outpatient treatment.

Another person injured in the morning attack on Kherson later went to hospital. A 59-year-old man sustained a blast injury, concussion and an acute stress reaction. He was given medical assistance and allowed to get an outpatient treatment.

At around 15:15, the Oblast Military Administration reported that the number of people injured in the morning attack on Kherson had risen to five. A 71-year-old man required medical assistance after sustaining concussion, blast trauma and a closed head injury.
