Russia shells Kherson power plant again: significant damage, one injured

Russian forces have again shelled the Kherson Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant with artillery, causing significant damage.

Details: "Today the Russians again carried out an artillery shelling of the combined heat and power plant in Kherson," he reported.

A female employee of the plant was injured in the strike. She was taken to hospital, where she is receiving the necessary medical assistance.

The CHP plant has sustained significant damage, and work to deal with the aftermath of the shelling is ongoing.

"The Kherson CHP plant was the only source of heat for tens of thousands of flats in the city. The Russians attack the plant almost daily," Koretskyi noted.

Background: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked civilian facilities in Odesa with strike drones on the evening of 27 December, Odesa Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported.
