Zelenskyy and Trump meet in Florida for peace talks

A meeting between the Ukrainian and US presidents, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump, has begun at the US leader's private residence, Mar-a-Lago, in Florida.

Details: The leaders met on the porch and the meeting is being broadcast live. The meeting had been due to begin at 20:00 Kyiv time (13:00 local time), but started almost half an hour late.

The conversation will be entirely devoted to the "peace negotiations" and will be based on the previous work done by the negotiating teams, who have drawn up a 20-point plan.

Zelenskyy spoke with leaders of the EU, Canada and NATO ahead of the talks with Trump.
