Zelenskyy and Trump to agree on sequence for implementing peace agreement points

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the Ukrainian and US teams have already begun to discuss not only the substance of the potential peace agreement, but also the procedure for how it would be implemented.

Details: Zelenskyy recalled that the outcome of several rounds of talks between the Ukrainian and US teams was the draft "peace plan", which, as envisaged, should lead to a ceasefire and an end to the war.
"Our teams have worked out a 20-point plan. Then they worked on a prosperity and security document," the Ukrainian president added.
He noted that the talks will cover not only the content of the documents that could potentially be signed, but also the procedure for implementing them. "Now it is very important for us [meaning himself and President Trump – ed.] to discuss and sequence it. It's very important," Zelenskyy emphasised.
He said that work on this has already been done by the negotiating teams, and the task now is to agree on decisions at leader level.
"Our teams talked about strategy, how to make it step-by-step, and to bring peace closer. And we will discuss this strategy," he said.
Trump, who was present as Zelenskyy said this, made no objection, only adding that he is interested in discussing the economic elements of the agreement.
"And there are great economic benefits for Ukraine also, because, you know, there's a lot of rebuilding to do. There's a lot of wealth to be had. And they have great wealth," he noted.
