Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Russians were dissatisfied with the successful meeting between the Ukrainian and American sides in the United States and are inventing reasons to carry out strikes on government buildings in Kyiv.

Quote: "Another lie by Russia. It's clear that yesterday we had a meeting with Trump, and it's clear that for the Russians, if there is no scandal between America and us, and instead we have progress, that is a failure for them. They do not want to end this war. They are capable of ending it only under pressure. And so they were looking, I am convinced of this, for reasons… and they are moving further.

Now, with this statement about some residence being attacked, they are simply preparing, I am convinced, the ground to strike the capital, and probably government buildings."

Details: Zelenskyy recalled that in September, Russia had already attacked the Cabinet of Ministers building with missiles.

"That's why everyone needs to be vigilant now, absolutely everyone. A strike on the capital may be carried out. Especially since this person – if one can call and refer to him as a person – said that they would select appropriate targets, meaning they are issuing threats," he said, adding that the US president, his team, and Europeans need to get involved and "carry out appropriate work with the people who only yesterday were said to very much want to end the war."
