Russian forces kill driver with FPV drone in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, injure man in Kherson

Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts killed a 61-year-old man and injured another man on 30 December.

Details: In the Zaporizhzhia district, Russian forces struck a car with an FPV drone while it was travelling along a road in the village of Veselianka. The car was damaged and the driver died at the scene.

In the city of Kherson, Russian forces attacked a residential building with a drone at about 12:40. A 65-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his arm and leg. He was taken to hospital.

Background:

  • On 29 December, Russian forces attacked the city of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast with a guided aerial bomb, killing a man.
