President's Office considers delegating some powers to other state bodies

The Office of the President of Ukraine is considering delegating some of its powers to the National Security and Defence Council.

Details: Ukrainska Pravda has learned that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is considering reinstating the President's Office in a different format from how it functioned under former head Andrii Yermak.

Members of the presidential team are discussing the possibility of transferring part of the analytical work currently done by the President's Office to the National Security and Defence Council, leaving the Office with only patronage functions.

Background: On 30 December, Zelenskyy said he had decided on a new head for the President's Office. He also announced that there will be changes to the heads of oblast administrations in early 2026.
