Russian large-scale attack on Odesa: part of city without power and heating, apartment blocks hit, three children injured – photos

Russian forces conducted a large-scale drone attack on the city of Odesa and Odesa Oblast on the night of 30-31 December. Parts of Odesa have been left without electricity, water and heating and four people have been injured, including three children, as a result of the strike.

Details: Kiper reported that Russian forces had once again targeted civilian and energy infrastructure in the oblast.

The attack caused warehouses belonging to a logistics company to catch fire in one of the settlements.

Updated: Lysak later reported that Russian drones had struck high-rise residential buildings.

Quote: "Infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged in the nighttime attack on Odesa.

High-rise residential buildings were hit in two districts of the city. Apartments caught fire in one building.

According to updated information, four people were injured, including three children: a 7-month-old baby in a moderate condition, a 14-year-old boy in a moderate condition, an 8-year-old girl in a moderate condition and a 42-year-old man in a critical condition.

All those injured have been taken to medical facilities, where they are receiving all necessary treatment."

Background: Earlier, Ukraine's Air Force warned of Russian attack drones moving from the Black Sea towards Odesa.
