Ukraine's defence forces have carried out an attack on the Tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal near the settlement of Volna on the Taman Peninsula in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.

Details: The military reported that damage to two piers with loading arms of the oil-loading terminal has been confirmed.

The facility is designed for the storage and subsequent transhipment of crude oil, petroleum products and liquefied hydrocarbons for export and for supplying Russia's Armed Forces.

The General Staff also reported that on the same night, Ukrainian attack UAVs successfully attacked the federal state treasury institution Temp in the city of Rybinsk in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia. The Temp oil depot of the Russian State Reserve is engaged in the storage, receipt, release and accounting of strategic reserves, including petroleum products. A large-scale fire has been observed at the facility.

In addition, Ukraine's defence forces carried out attacks on a temporary basing point for river boats near Olenivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine's Crimea, and struck Russian storage points in the vicinity of the settlements of Blyzhnie and Siyatel in Donetsk Oblast.

Background: On the night of 30-31 December, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, together with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, attacked the Tuapse maritime oil terminal and the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
