Number injured rises to 5 in city of Zaporizhzhia, 9 across oblast over past day
The number of people injured as a result of a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia on the evening of 31 December has risen to five. Overall, nine people across the oblast were injured over the past day as a result of Russian attacks.

A 15-year-old boy was injured in a Russian strike. His 45-year-old mother was also injured. A 76-year-old man, a 57-year-old man, and a 60-year-old woman were also injured."
Details: On the morning of 1 January, Fedorov reported that over the past day, nine people were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts.
In total, over the course of the day, the Russians carried out 612 attacks on 24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Forty-five reports were received of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure facilities.
Background: On the evening of 31 December, Zaporizhzhia came under a Russian strike, as a result of which an apartment building was damaged; one injured person was reported at the time.
