US President Donald Trump has reportedly ordered strikes on targets inside Venezuela on Saturday 3 January.

Details: Earlier, Jacobs reported that Trump administration officials had been aware of reports of explosions and aircraft flying over Caracas, the Venezuelan capital, early this morning.

No official comments have been issued so far.
