Large-scale fire breaks out in Sumy Oblast after Russian attack

Russian forces attacked Sumy Oblast on the night of 2-3 January. Emergency workers have reported a large-scale fire.

Details: Emergency workers said that several Russian UAVs struck "one of the settlements in the Shostka district".
Non-residential buildings housing civilian vehicles sustained significant damage followed by fire, resulting in a large-scale blaze.
The administration added that a 60-year-old man in the Krasnopillia hromada was injured in an FPV drone strike over the past day. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Background: On the night of 2-3 January, Russia attacked Ukraine with 95 drones. Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed or jammed 80 UAVs.
