Zelenskyy announces new appointments for heads of five oblasts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced decisions to appoint new heads for Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil and Chernivtsi oblasts.

Quote: "We are continuing personnel changes and are currently holding consultations on new heads of regional administrations in five regions: Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Ternopil and Chernivtsi.
The list of candidates has been finalised. Decisions will be made tomorrow, and I expect that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine [Ukrainian government] will approve the appointments shortly. The new regional heads are expected to begin their work next week."
Background:
On 2 January, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees appointing Kyrylo Budanov as head of the President's Office and Oleh Ivashchenko as his replacement in Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also proposed appointing Mykhailo Fedorov, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, as the new defence minister.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko will soon present candidates to replace Lieutenant General Serhii Deineko as head of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, while Deineko will remain within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Zelenskyy has said that he expects the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) to approve Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal for the posts of deputy prime minister and minister of energy.
