President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that partner countries are currently imposing no restrictions on Ukraine using long-range weapons that they have supplied for strikes on Russian territory. However, they are not currently providing weapons that could be used for such strikes.

Details: Asked whether Ukraine's partners have placed any caveats on their weapons being used for long-range strikes against Russia, Zelenskyy said: "In my view, we have moved into a phase where we use what we have, and what may not be used is simply not being supplied to us."

In addition, the president noted that "many processes have slowed down, for example with regard to air defence, and the Russians know this very well and can see many things".

Zelenskyy said he would like Ukraine's partners to put more pressure on Russia through sanctions and stronger military support for Ukraine, adding that "the United States should apply greater pressure".

Zelenskyy also stressed that the US team has worked "very extensively" with Ukraine on the peace plan and said he does not believe there is a real alternative to the peace process currently underway.
