Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on suppliers of electronic warfare equipment to Russian forces

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree on 4 January enacting a decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine to impose sanctions on 95 individuals and 70 legal entities, most of whom are citizens and residents of Russia.

Details: The list includes companies and their executives that manufacture and supply products in the fields of communications, electronic warfare and microelectronics for the Russian military sector and security agencies.
Sanctions were also imposed on industrial companies in Russia's chemical, extractive and metallurgical sectors, as well as the fuel and energy complex.
Background: Zelenskyy recently signed two decrees enacting National Security and Defence Council decisions on synchronising sanctions with the United Kingdom and on applying restrictive measures in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions.
