Zelenskyy appoints acting head of Ukraine's Border Guard Service after dismissing its chief

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Serhii Deineko as head of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service (SBGS) and appointed First Deputy Valerii Vavryniuk as its acting head.

Source: presidential decrees dated 4 January

Details: In one decree, Zelenskyy dismissed Deineko from the post, and in another, he appointed Vavryniuk to carry out the duties of acting head of the State Border Guard Service.
