Details: The Russian serviceman captured by Ukrainian defence forces was transported using a DevDroid TW 12.7 ground robotic system. The Russian soldier was taken from positions by the drone and transferred to other SSU fighters to replenish the stock of prisoners for exchange.
The company said that fighters from the Special Operations Centre Alpha also use ground robotic systems to deliver food and ammunition to positions and to conduct combat operations.
Quote: "It was the Special Operations Centre Alpha that became one of the first Ukrainian combat units to systematically begin using ground robotic systems in real combat operations, at a time when for many this still seemed like an experiment or an engineering fantasy."

For reference: The DevDroid TW 12.7 ground robotic system was presented in June 2025. The system combines the Ravlyk platform with the Wolly 12.7 combat module. The drone is equipped with a remotely operated 12.7 mm M2 Browning machine gun and has narrow-angle, wide-angle or thermal imaging cameras, as well as an automatic targeting system.
Background: Earlier, a DevDroid TW 12.7 ground robotic system carried out combat missions at a position for 45 days, replacing infantry on the ground.
