Battlefield sees 191 clashes, 46 of them on Huliaipole front – Ukraine’s General Staff
A total of 191 combat clashes with Russian troops have occurred over the course of 5 January, with 46 of them taking place on the Huliaipole front alone.

Quote: "Yesterday [4 January – ed.], the enemy carried out 62 airstrikes, dropping 185 guided aerial bombs and using one missile. In addition, they conducted 4,016 attacks, including 84 from multiple-launch rocket systems, and used 5,232 kamikaze drones for strikes."
Details: A total of 191 combat clashes occurred over the past day.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Russian forces conducted 5 airstrikes, dropping 15 aerial bombs, and 99 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including 3 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions five times near the settlements of Vovchansk and Prylipka and towards Kutkivka.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians carried out three attacks on Ukrainian defenders' positions towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka and Kupiansk.
On the Lyman front, Russian forces attacked nine times, attempting to break through the Ukrainian defence near the settlements of Nadiia and Zarichne and towards Drobysheve, Stavky and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian troops stopped seven offensive actions by Russian forces in the areas of the settlements of Sviato-Pokrovske, Pazeno and Zakitne.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive operations.
On the Kostiantynivka front, Russian forces carried out 21 attacks near the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka and Rusyn Yar and towards Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Berestok and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 43 Russian offensive actions near the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Sukhetske, Zatyshok, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and Filiia and towards Hryshyne and Ivanivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces carried out 14 attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Vyshneve, Zlahoda, Sichneve, Oleksandrohrad and Sosnivka and towards Ivanivka.
On the Huliaipole front, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 46 Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Uspenivka, Solodke and Huliaipole and towards Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Zelene and Pryluky.
On the Orikhiv front, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian unit positions two times near the village of Plavni and towards Prymorske.
On the Prydniprovske front, Russian troops carried out two unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian positions.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
