DeepState: Russians advance near two settlements in Donetsk Oblast

DeepState, a Ukrainian military analyst group, has reported that Russian forces have made advances on the Bakhmut and Kramatorsk fronts of Donetsk Oblast.

Details: The analysts report that the Russians have advanced near Fedorivka in the Bakhmut district and in the area of Novomarkove in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk Oblast.
Background: The 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces reported that as of 5 January, Ukrainian forces were repelling a Russian assault on the village of Hryshyne on the Pokrovsk front in Donetsk Oblast. Russian forces were suffering losses but continuing to attack.
