Security guarantees largely agreed, land issue still unresolved – US chief negotiator

Adviser to President Donald Trump and his Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has said that the work on security guarantees has largely been completed, following a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris.

Details: Witkoff said that he hoped for "further progress as a result of everything that happened today".
Quote: "We believe we have largely finished work on the security protocols, which are important so that the people of Ukraine know that when this ends, it ends for good.
But we also believe we are very, very close to finishing work on the prosperity agreement, which will be the strongest of any ever concluded by countries emerging from similar conflicts and which, we hope, will open up huge opportunities for the Ukrainian people.
And we believe that a strong economy correlates and works directly with these security protocols."
More details: However, Witkoff acknowledged that the "land" issue remains unresolved and said talks on it will continue.
Quote: "We hope we will be able to reach some compromises on this, but I want to say this. We are here to mediate and help in the peace process and we are ready to do whatever is necessary to achieve that goal."
