Battlefield sees 221 clashes, 48 of them on Huliaipole front – Ukraine's General Staff
Ukrainian and Russian forces clashed a total of 221 times on 6 January, with 48 of these combat engagements occurring on the Huliaipole front and 44 on the Pokrovsk front.

Details: A total of 221 combat clashes have occurred over the past day.
On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, three combat clashes took place. Russian forces conducted 3 airstrikes, dropped 8 aerial bombs and carried out 82 attacks, one of which was from a multiple-launch rocket system.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian forces repelled 15 Russian attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia and Prylipka.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians carried out seven attacks. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian offensive actions towards the settlements of Pishchane, Petropavlivka and Kurylivka.
On the Lyman front, Russian forces attacked 18 times, attempting to break through the Ukrainian defence near the settlements of Myrne, Zarichne, Derylove, Karpivka and Serednie and towards Drobysheve, Stavky, Cherneshchyna, Novoserhiivka and Ozerne.
On the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian troops repelled four Russian attacks towards the village of Riznykivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, there were six combat clashes in the vicinity of Vasiukivka and Chasiv Yar and towards Bondarne.
On the Kostiantynivka front, Russian forces carried out 18 attacks near the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka and Kleban-Byk and towards Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, Mykolaipillia and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 44 Russian offensive actions near the settlements of Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and Filiia and towards Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, Hryshyne and Sukhetske.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces carried out 13 attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Verbove, Solodke and Zlahoda and towards Oleksiivka and Ivanivka.
On the Huliaipole front, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 48 Russian attacks near Huliaipole and towards Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Zelene and Pryluky.
On the Orikhiv front, the Russians did not conduct any offensive operations.
On the Prydniprovske front, Ukrainian defenders repelled a Russian attack towards the Antonivka bridge.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
