Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts kill 3, injure 11

Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts on 8 January killed three people and injured at least 11, including two children.

Details: A 55-year-old woman was injured in the attack on the Zaporizhzhia district. Russian forces conducted 728 strikes on 24 settlements in the oblast. This included 12 airstrikes, 395 drone attacks of various types (mostly FPV drones), 4 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems and 317 artillery strikes. Authorities received 37 reports of damage to houses and cars.
Dozens of towns and villages in Kherson Oblast were targeted by drone attacks, airstrikes and artillery, including Antonivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Novovorontsovka and Kherson. Russian forces struck critical infrastructure, social facilities and residential areas. Damage was reported to three apartment buildings, nine houses, a catering establishment, a workshop, a gas pipeline and cars.
The Russian aggression in the oblast caused casualties: civilians were killed and at least 11 people were injured, including two children.
