Zelenskyy submits motion to parliament to dismiss Maliuk as Ukrainian Security Service's head

The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) has received a motion from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to dismiss Vasyl Maliuk as head of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Details: Stefanchuk said the Verkhovna Rada will soon consider the motion in accordance with the established procedure.

Prior to this, Ukrainska Pravda found that Vasyl Maliuk had agreed to step down.

Background: Stefanchuk has announced that the Verkhovna Rada has received resignation letters from Ukraine's Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal and Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation.
