Russians strike DTEK thermal power plant again, equipment severely damaged

Russian forces have attacked a thermal power plant belonging to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, causing significant damage to equipment.

Details: This marked the eighth large-scale attack on the company's thermal power plants since October 2025.

DTEK reported that Russian forces have targeted their power plants over 220 times since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

As a result, 59 DTEK employees have been injured and four killed.
