Russian forces struck critical infrastructure facilities in Zhytomyr Oblast on the night of 12-13 January.

Details: The strikes targeted facilities in the Korosten and Zviahel districts. There are currently no reports of casualties.

Background:

  • On the night of 12-13 January, four civilians were killed and six others sustained injuries of varying severity in a Russian combined missile and drone attack on the outskirts of Kharkiv.
  • That same night, air-raid warnings were issued in several regions due to Russia's use of ballistic weapons and attack UAVs. A series of explosions was reported in Kyiv and Kharkiv. Two people were killed and five others were injured.
