Details: Zelenskyy said that Russia launched nearly 300 attack drones and dozens of missiles against Ukraine on the night of 12-13 January, leaving hundreds of thousands of families without electricity.
Zelenskyy noted that the primary target of the strikes was once again energy infrastructure, including power generation facilities and substations. Nevertheless, significant damage was recorded to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. The attacks affected Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts.
The president stressed that every such strike is a reminder of the need to continue supporting Ukraine, particularly through the supply of missiles for air defence systems, especially during the winter period. He added that the world can respond to Russia's terror with new aid packages and by accelerating deliveries already agreed with the United States and Europe.
Quote: "Russia must come to learn that cold will not help it win the war. Thank you to everyone who is helping."
