Russia's 8 January strike on Kryvyi Rih: death toll rises to two

A 67-year-old man who was injured in the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih on 8 January has died in hospital, bringing the death toll from that strike to two.

Details: Hancha said doctors fought to save the man's life but were unable to do so.

Quote: "May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.As of now, seven people who were injured in that strike remain in hospital. All of them are in a moderate condition."

Background: Russia struck apartment buildings with two Iskander missiles in Kryvyi Rih on the evening of 8 January. An elderly woman was reported killed and 23 people were reported injured, including children.
