Ukraine cannot cover more than a third of electricity demand, Zelenskyy says

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that electricity consumption in Ukraine was 18GW yesterday while the system's capacity is only 11GW.

Quote: "Repair works take place after every strike. We have a large number of repair teams. But they cannot do everything on their own, this is complex work.

Work is going on every day not only to restore power stations but also the technical capacity for importing electricity, which is also being destroyed by daily Russian attacks."
Details: Zelenskyy said that he will not specify where repair works are taking place because this would increase the risk of another strike.
