Ukraine's commander-in-chief and his Coalition of the Willing counterparts discuss security guarantees for Ukraine

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and commanders of the armed forces of the Coalition of the Willing member states have discussed how Kyiv's partners could contribute to implementing international security guarantees for Ukraine.

Syrskyi emphasised that Russia continues to show no willingness to end the war, continuing its terror against the civilian population of Ukraine. He stressed the need to step up sanctions on Russia to make the economic cost of continuing the war unbearable.
Special attention was paid to continued military assistance to Ukraine, which is seen as a key precondition for maintaining the combat capability of the Ukrainian defence forces and their ability to continue to inflict significant losses on the Russians on the battlefield.
