Russian forces damaged five critical energy facilities in Chernihiv Oblast on the night of 18-19 January, leaving tens of thousands of consumers without electricity.

  • On the night of 18-19 January, the Russians attacked energy infrastructure in several regions. As of the morning, consumers had been left without power in Sumy, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Chernihiv oblasts.
  • In particular, the Russians caused significant damage to an energy facility in Odesa. This facility belongs to DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company.
