Trump and Putin envoys meet in Davos
US President Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff has met with Kirill Dmitriev, an envoy of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Details: Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner was also reported to have attended the meeting.
TASS said Dmitriev's talks with Trump's representatives lasted more than two hours and focused on the "US plan" to end the war.
According to TASS, Witkoff described the talks with Putin's representative as "positive".
Dmitriev said the meeting had been "constructive" and claimed that more people "understand the correctness" of Russia's position on ending the war.
