Russians attack Ukraine with ballistic missile and 97 drones overnight: 84 UAVs downed – Ukrainian Air Force
Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 97 drones of various types since the evening of 20 January. Ukrainian air defence units have brought down 84 of the drones, although hits have also been recorded. The Russian attack is still ongoing.

Quote: "As of 08:30, air defence had shot down or jammed 84 enemy Shaheds, Gerberas and drones of other types in the country's north, south and east. Hits by a ballistic missile and 13 attack UAVs had been recorded at 11 locations and the fall of downed drones (debris) at one location."
Details: The missile was launched from temporarily occupied Crimea, while the drones were launched from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in Crimea and from the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast. Around 70 of the drones were Shahed-type loitering munitions.
The aerial attack is being repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from the Ukrainian defence forces.
As of 08:30, the attack is continuing, as several Russian UAVs are still in Ukrainian airspace.
