Russia launches ballistic missile strike on building in Kryvyi Rih: 11 injured, including three children

Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on a two-storey apartment building in the city of Kryvyi Rih on the afternoon of 22 January. The number of people injured in the strikes has increased to 11, including three children.

Details: Vilkul said Russia had been attacking the city with strike drones for over ten hours.
He later reported that the all-clear had been sounded, saying that air defence systems had "performed almost perfectly".
Vilkul also said that Vilnoi Ichkerii Street was expected to be reopened to traffic within one to two hours, as bomb disposal teams and municipal services were working at the scene. Drivers were asked to use an alternative route for the time being.
However, after only a few minutes of calm, an air-raid warning was issued again. Vilkul reported explosions and a missile attack, while the Air Force warned of a ballistic threat to Kryvyi Rih.
Update: Hanzha later reported that the Russians had carried out a missile strike on a two-storey apartment building.
Early reports indicate that five people were injured, including an 18-month-old boy.
He is in a moderate condition under medical supervision. A 55-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman are also in hospital. Two other local residents will be treated at home.
Update at 13:52: Hanzha reported that the number of those who sustained injuries has risen to 11.
Quote: "Three of them are children. In addition to the 18-month-old boy, there are two girls aged eight and ten. They have been taken to hospital in a moderate condition."
