Grain exports via Ukrainian maritime corridor reach 100 million tonnes
Since the launch of the Ukrainian maritime corridor in September 2023, a total of 168.9 million tonnes of cargo have been transported through it, including 100 million tonnes of grain.

Details: Kuleba said that despite constant Russian attacks, the maritime corridor continues to operate steadily and remains a key export route.
He added that in 2025 alone, 73.2 million tonnes of cargo were transported via the corridor, including 38.1 million tonnes of grain.
Quote: "Behind these figures is the daily work of people: port workers, seafarers, logistics specialists, dispatchers, engineers and repair crews. They work in difficult and dangerous conditions, but ensure vessel movements, cargo handling and the fulfilment of export contracts."
Background:
- Russian strikes on the port infrastructure of Greater Odesa and the Danube ports have significantly worsened Ukraine's export capacity and are already having tangible consequences for the agricultural sector.
- "Due to intensified attacks in December and January, agri-food export performance deteriorated sharply," said Denys Marchuk, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Agri Council. "Current export volumes are 47% lower than last year. So far, around 16 million tonnes have been exported, which is about 6 million tonnes less than during the same period last year."
