Russian forces strike Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Kherson: two women killed

Russian forces attacked the city of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblast on the morning of 27 January, killing two women and injuring another one.

Details: Investigators have found that the Russians struck Kherson with rocket artillery at around 04:00. A 72-year-old woman was killed while she was inside her house.

Russian forces also attacked Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Fedorov said that a Russian drone struck a house in the settlement of Balabyne, killing a 58-year-old woman.
An aerial bomb partially destroyed a house and damaged nearby buildings in the settlement of Komyshuvakha. A 68-year-old woman has been injured and is receiving the necessary medical assistance.
Background: Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure in Kherson Oblast over the past day and damaged homes, a mobile phone tower and a hotel.
