Ukraine to sign 20-point peace plan with US, EU not a signatory – Ukraine's foreign minister

Ukraine is set to sign a 20-point peace agreement with the United States, while the US would sign a separate document with Russia.
Source: Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in an interview to European Pravda
Details: Sybiha said that the 20-point agreement at the centre of the peace process is a bilateral document.
Quote: "If we speak strictly about this 20-point framework, it is currently a bilateral document that will be signed by the US and Ukraine. And with Russia, it is the US that will sign [an agreement – ed.]. As of now, this is the structure being discussed, but talks are still ongoing. This is a process."
More details: On European involvement in approving "peace documents", Sybiha said that Europe is "present in the peace process and in agreements on security guarantees".
Quote: "By the way, what is important is that the term being used is 'security guarantees' rather than 'assurances' or similar language."
More details: Sybiha said that the security guarantees must be legally binding.
Quote: "It is important that there is agreement on the need to ratify the guarantees, including ratification in the US Congress."
More details: Sybiha also said that there has been a qualitative change in talks with Russia, as Russian representatives no longer deliver pseudo-historical lectures.
Background: Sybiha has said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is ready to meet Russian leader Vladimir Putin in person to settle two key issues in the peace talks.
