Details: Ukrainska Pravda source said that the suspect is 35-year-old Inna Kardash. She was served with a notice of suspicion on charges of espionage and remanded in custody.
Quote: "As part of a special operation that lasted several months, SSU [Security Service of Ukraine] and DIU internal security officers recorded the criminal activity of a Belarusian spy and ran an operational game with her, feeding her disinformation disguised as classified data."
More details: DIU reported that the woman had worked for Belarus's KGB since 2015 and was sent to Ukraine for agent work in 2020. Her work as a journalist served as a cover for her operations. After working for the sanctioned channel 112, linked to former MP Viktor Medvedchuk, a Ukrainian businessman and pro-Russian politician to whose daughter Russian President Vladimir Putin is godfather, she took a job at one of Ukraine's leading media outlets.

Later, on instructions from her handler, she traveled to an EU country under the cover story of medical checks for additional briefing. She was tasked with collecting information about Belarusians and Russians who are fighting against Russia on Ukraine's side.
She was also instructed to establish links with staff at China's Embassy in Kyiv in order to gather information about Chinese diplomats' activity in Ukraine.
