Hourly outage schedules will apply across Ukraine on 28 January

Hourly power outage schedules and capacity restrictions (for industrial consumers) will apply in all regions of Ukraine on Wednesday 28 January.

Details: The schedules provide for hourly outages from 00:00 to 23:59.

Ukrenergo said the restrictions have to be put in place as a consequence of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities.

Quote: "The situation in the power system is subject to change. Information on the times and scope of outages in your oblast can be found on the official website of your local energy provider."

Background: Kyiv is expected to return to scheduled power outages soon, but the schedules will be particularly stringent for residents of the capital.
