All unverified Starlink terminals will be disconnected in Ukraine, defence minister says

Ukraine's Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has announced the gradual introduction of a system that will allow only authorised Starlink terminals to operate in Ukraine.

Quote: "In the coming days, we will publish instructions for Ukrainian users on registering Starlink for verification. Unverified terminals will be disconnected.

Details: Fedorov also thanked Starlink and SpaceX for their cooperation.
Background:
- On 25 January, Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an adviser to Fedorov on technology-related matters, reported that Starlink is probably being used by Russians on Shahed attack UAVs.
- On 30 January, Elon Musk responded to a request from Fedorov for help in addressing the problem of Russian attack drones using Starlink satellite internet.
- It later became known that SpaceX had taken countermeasures against the use of the Starlink satellite internet system on Russian attack UAVs.
- On 1 February, Musk noted that steps taken to prevent Russia's unauthorised use of Starlink satellite internet had likely been effective.
