Bus in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was attacked by online-controlled Shaheds

Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an adviser to Ukraine's defence minister on technology areas, has reported that a bus carrying miners in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast was attacked by Shahed loitering munitions controlled via the Internet.

Quote: "A group of Shaheds controlled online via MESH radio modems were flying along the road. The operator of the first Shahed saw the bus below and decided to attack it.

The first Shahed hit near the bus, the driver lost control under the impact of the blast wave and crashed into a fence, people began leaving the bus, helping each other.

At this time, the operator of the second Shahed saw people and guided the Shahed directly at the civilians."

Details: Beskrestnov said that the operators controlling the drones from the territory of Russia definitely saw and recognised the target as a civilian vehicle and made a deliberate decision to attack it.

Background: Early information indicates that 12 miners were killed and 16 were injured in the Russian UAVs attack on the city of Ternivka in Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on 1 February.
