Ukraine receives new batch of generators from UNICEF

The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has delivered an additional 42 generators to Ukraine, bringing the total supplied to 106 units with a combined capacity of 15.1 MW.

Quote: "This equipment is already being sent to frontline regions and cities to support the operation of heating networks, water utilities, hospitals and social infrastructure facilities. The generators, with capacities ranging from mobile to industrial, can operate as a primary or backup power source for critical facilities."

Details: Kuleba said this delivery is part of a broader winter support programme. In total, UNICEF plans to provide Ukraine with 255 generators with a combined capacity of around 40.6 MW and a total value of nearly US$6.2 million.

He added that two cogeneration units with capacities of 1.5 MW and 2.3 MW have been delivered from Kryvyi Rih to Kyiv to support critical infrastructure facilities.
