Details: Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has agreed to the US proposal, while Russia has so far not given its consent.
Quote: "The United States has once again proposed that both sides support the US president's de-escalation initiative regarding energy. Ukraine has confirmed its agreement, but Russia has not yet done so," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that Russia usually responds to such initiatives only after its delegation returns to Russia.
Zelenskyy also said that the US had proposed that Russia's war against Ukraine end before summer, as another priority will emerge for Washington later on, namely the US congressional elections.
In addition, the president confirmed that the talks in Abu Dhabi have not yet resolved the territorial issue or the issue of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
Background: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is awaiting a reaction from everyone who supports the trilateral negotiations regarding Russia's overnight strikes on the night of 6-7 February.
