Russian ballistic missiles hit Kyiv

Russian forces have attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. An air-raid warning has been issued in the capital and a number of oblasts.

Quote from Klitschko: "Explosions in the capital. Kyiv is under ballistic missile attack. Air defence forces are responding. Please stay in shelters!"

Details: Tkachenko also reported that "the enemy's ballistic missile attack is ongoing".

Ukraine's Air Force reported fast-moving airborne assets over Chernihiv Oblast heading towards Kyiv Oblast and later towards the capital.
