DeepState: Russians amass forces in Pokrovsk and try to block Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast

Russian forces are amassing forces in Pokrovsk and north of Myrnohrad, attempting to advance further north towards Rodynske.

Quote: "The enemy is pulling its infantry into the northern part of Pokrovsk. Footage shows Russian troops, disguised in civilian clothing, removing the bodies of their dead. Access to the city is heavily restricted. The enemy is actively conducting remote mining. Areas that are successfully cleared are immediately mined again.

The enemy is also continuing constant attempts to enter Hryshyne, and recently drone operators have been focusing more on this settlement rather than on Pokrovsk, which the enemy is taking advantage of."

Details: Analysts also reported that on the Myrnohrad front, Russian forces are concentrating at farms in the north. "Chaotic fighting continues in the northern part of the city, involving the remaining units of the defence forces still in Myrnohrad. There are no plans for their withdrawal, despite the fact that Pokrovsk may soon fall into Russian hands," the report says.

The Russians are also increasing pressure on Rodynske, located north of Myrnohrad.

"However, the biggest problem is that the enemy is conducting raids with small infantry groups west of Rodynske, deep into our defensive lines, searching for drone operators, who are currently at risk of direct fire contact with assault units. Meanwhile, Rodynske is the last settlement that still provides an opportunity to attempt a withdrawal from Myrnohrad — something the enemy fully understands," the report states.

Background: On Monday 9 February, DeepState reported that Russian forces had advanced near the village of Tykhe in Kharkiv Oblast.
