Quote: "There is an important issue residents of apartment blocks should take into account. There is air in the heating system, so it is necessary to bleed the air from internal building networks."
Details: Management companies are carrying out this work but because of staff shortages residents are being asked, where technically possible, to help do it themselves. Andriieshyn said this is important for establishing a stable hydraulic regime and full heat supply.
He added that during these days the hospital received heat from a solid-fuel boiler house so temperatures there have remained within normal limits.
Education institutions are operating remotely today. In pre-school institutions, duty groups have been organised and are being additionally heated with electric appliances.
Background: The Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast stopped operating following a large-scale Russian attack on 7 February. People living in the city of Burshtyn had no water or heating.
