Russians urgently supplied with new satellite Internet terminals after Starlink shutdown
Russian forces have begun urgently receiving satellite Internet terminals at various frontline positions.

Details: Russia has several high-speed satellite Internet providers operating via the Yamal and Ekspress satellites, Beskrestnov said. Their antennas resemble television satellite dishes: they are round or oval with diameters of 60 to 120 cm.
Beskrestnov also explained how they can be identified and detected:
Quote: "All dishes will face southeast or south (azimuth 110-180 degrees). The dish will be visually exposed. At these frequencies, a protective cover like on Starlink would interfere with operation. The dish can be moved behind the front line and connected to the front with a WiFi bridge."
Background:
- After unauthorised use of Starlink satellite terminals by the Russians on strike drones, Ukraine, together with SpaceX, implemented terminal verification from 2 February.
- Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated that Russian troops' Starlinks were completely blocked.
- On the morning of 5 February, Beskrestnov reported a catastrophe for the Russians on the front due to communication problems.
