Russia continues attacks on Kherson combined heat and power plant with various drones: new damage reported

Russian forces have been striking the Kherson combined heat and power plant belonging to Naftogaz Group, Ukraine's largest national oil and gas company, for the second consecutive day, using drones of different types.

Details: Koretskyi reported that new damage has occurred.

It is currently impossible to fully assess the extent of the damage due to the ongoing threat of repeat attacks.

"Together with local authorities and the government, we are doing everything possible to ensure people have heating under the current conditions," Koretskyi said.

Background: It was reported on 6 February that Russian forces had attacked the Kherson combined heat and power plant four times since the beginning of February.
