Russia loses 1,180 soldiers over past day

Russia has lost 1,180 soldiers killed and wounded and more than 800 weapons and pieces of military equipment over the past day.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 16 February 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• 24,042 (+5) armoured combat vehicles
• 37,319 (+26) artillery systems
• 1,648 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,301 (+1) air defence systems
• 435 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 347 (+0) helicopters
• 135,459 (+601) operational-tactical UAVs
• 4,286 (+0) cruise missiles
• 29 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 78,654 (+169) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,071 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
