Emergency power outages have been introduced in Kharkiv Oblast due to the difficult situation in Ukraine's energy system.

Details: Emergency outages have been applied both in the city of Kharkiv and across Kharkiv Oblast to stabilise the situation in the power grid.
Hourly outage schedules continue to apply alongside emergency outages.
Quote: "Dear consumers, we remind you that the situation is extremely difficult due to the Russian attacks on energy infrastructure in different parts of the country."
Background:
- Consumers in four Ukrainian oblasts were left without electricity as of morning as a result of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure.
- After the Russian attack on 12 February, around 500 buildings in Kyiv remain without heating.
