Battlefield sees over 200 clashes in past 24 hours – Ukraine's General Staff
Ukraine's defence forces are containing Russian troops across the entire front line. A total of 201 combat engagements have been recorded over the past 24 hours, with the most intense fighting taking place near the settlements of Pokrovsk and Huliaipole.

On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, seven combat engagements have taken place over the past day. The Russians carried out 88 strikes, including three from multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians mounted 11 attempts to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near the settlements of Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory and towards Hrafske, Vilcha, Sheviakivka and Chuhunivka.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces carried out six attacks towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Novoosynove and Bohuslavka.
On the Lyman front, Russian soldiers conducted 14 attacks, seeking to break through Ukrainian defences towards the settlements of Nadiia, Hlushchenkove, Oleksandrivka, Druzheliubivka, Tverdokhlibove, Drobysheve, Stavky and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian defenders have stopped seven Russian attempts to advance towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and near Platonivka and Dronivka over the past 24 hours.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian troops carried out five offensive actions near the settlements of Minkivka, Vasiukivka, Bondarne and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians carried out 16 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka and towards Novopavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian defenders stopped 42 Russian assaults near the settlements of Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne and Udachne and towards Toretske, Novyi Donbas, Vilne, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Novopavlivka, Novopidhorodnie and Filiia.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians have carried out eight attacks over the past day towards the settlements of Ivanivka, Oleksiivka, Verbove, Pryvillia and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces carried out 37 attacks towards the settlements of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene and Staroukrainka.
On the Orikhiv front, the Russians launched an attack on Ukrainian defensive positions near Stepnohirsk.
On the Prydniprovske front, Russian troops did not conduct any unsuccessful offensive actions.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
